I wonder how often people are able to get away with crimes using this tactic. Seems like it would be quite effective....

Great thoughts Bill! we need to discuss over pints!

Lost = awesome. And I just have to mention John Locke....I cried for you in the scene with your wheelchair and the experiences you now may never have, it broke my heart.

Talking to dead people, Desmond disappearing, missing sister, Charlie's death wish, random Japanese leaders who hate the taste of English on their tongue, Sayid coming back to life and good old smokey the mist whisperer...one thing is for sure, they've got us hooked again and I'm ok with that. I am going to enjoy confuddling my mind with the parallel storylines, the insanity and absurdity and lapping up the clues they will dribble to us every week.

My theory of what will happen to LOST, the island and smokey, in the words of Verbal Kint - "The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, poof. He's gone"

I don't think it's a good thing anymore. The line is pretty clear, if people want B-movie schlock or an old schools 70's or 80's horror trip, they'll throw an oldie but goodie in their home DVD player. Nowadays, I think people want something with story and legitimate thrills and chills.
